This morning as Kate’s waking up, I hear her talking to herself in her room for several minutes. When she comes out, she’s holding her Sleeping Beauty doll and says, “Mom, I’m pretending Sleeping Beauty’s the Avatar girl.
Confused. But once I saw the upside down crown, I had to admit, the resemblance was spot on!
Kate’s brilliant. I’m pretty sure. And me, what a good parent I am! My child references her dolls to creatures she shouldn’t have ever seen. Oh, well.
Here’s the true sleeping beaut! I snapped this a couple days ago. Napping is such a rare occasion for this child anymore.
She IS so smart...why to go mom! I LOVE her bows. She looks so cute!
ReplyDeleteEnjoy the napping! I wish my 3 year old would nap at all. Also, how is it that the child looks perfect while napping? My girls' hair is always skiwampus and crazy both awake and napping.
