Anyway, now that we are homeowners, I've become a weeding fool. I'm actually quite amazed that I've haven't burned out yet (usually my "newest hobbies" tend to do that). I'm getting close to the point where I can play landscapers challenge...you know: sketch out a plan, go pick out plants, and then plant them.
No, this is not my yard. Read below...
In other botanical news, Dave and I got to experience what it would be like to have 3 children (all roughly the same age) last night. We took Kate and our nephews, Hayden and Parker, to the Tulip Festival at Thanksgiving Point. We both pushed around strollers for endless miles of flower gardens, which provided for some excellent cardio, I'll have you know.
If you anyone goes, however, I would recommend wearing some comfortable walking shoes.
I've got swolen kankles and toes today; although, I probably can't blame the kankles solely on yesterday's events. In case you're wondering...no, these are not my kankles; merely, a representation.
Sounds like a lot of fun. We haven't been there in a long time...and we've never been to the children's garden. We'll have to check it out if we can ever get good weather ona weekend again!
ReplyDeleteOH MY HECK--Ash I was laughing so hard when I read this post!! You are so funny!! Hope that you kankles are feeling better!
ReplyDeleteThanks again for taking Hayden and Parker with you. Hayden tells me about it everytime we drive over towards that area....which as you know is almost daily.
