We couldn’t resist. Thanksgiving Point sucked us in and we are now members. It’s for the best. Kate wants to visit the Dino Museum like every week; so now she and T-Rex can truly become BFF’s.
We visited two venues the day we signed up (of course, the dinosaur museum, and then later that night, the Tulip Festival at the Gardens). We met up with our good friends the Williamson’s and had ourselves a lovely stroll.
Kate brought along our OLDEST digital camera that is still kicking, by the way. She was truly proud of herself and is like every other Utah mom now…a self-proclaimed photographer!!! Wahoo.
We were mostly just starved since it was late and none of us had eaten. We visited the Secret Garden, the Koy Pond, and the waterfall and then decided we needed food.
We then fought our way out as several brides hogged the sidewalks getting their bridals taken. Really? You can’t stand on the grass to get your shots? And, really, you thought Family Night would be a great date for picture taking? Weird.
The night concluded at the Blue Lemon. Not my favorite joint, but it was close by and didn’t require too much wait time. Anyway, it was a nice night out with friends and the flowers were beautiful as always.

Okay, I'm dying at your self-proclaimed photographer comment. So true!!
