Dave proved to be an expert; not ever falling! Me, on the other hand, took spills left and right. Good thing I don't have an ego, or I might have shattered it. I'm still amazed that I was able to get back up after every fall, knowing that I was only minutes away from another neck-wrenching fall! I think one might call that bravery, or maybe stupidity.
The experience, however, proved to be both thrilling and enchanting! I can't wait for my next ski date with Dave on top of the snowy Sundance mountains...it was truly romantical!
I love Sundance!! My parents have a cabin up there and so when we lived in California we would go skiing at Sudance all the time!! Now that I'm lame and can't ski or snowboard anymore I just enjoy being up there!!
ReplyDeleteSo glad you guys have a blog! It's so fun to read your "reality show"!! Mikelle Blackner
Skiing sounds fun too bad it is like 70 degrees down here and it never snows. I guess we could go to Flagstaff but who wants to drive all that way blah blah. I hope that you guys got some winter nookie at the top of the mountain, sounds like fun. Later
ReplyDeleteYou little snow bunny, you. Too bad I have an ego and will probably never experience the wonder of the slopes. I had no idea that fashion in snow gear had changed much since the 90s. By the way, Sabrina just brought me her freshly put together Potato Head and said, "Look mom, it's Aish!" She thinks the eyes with the eyelashes are yours.
ReplyDeleteK--of course she doesn't think that the potato head is shaped like you. You dork! If it makes you feel any better, she has made a "Momma Tato Head" about 100 times. We need to take the gals to the mall or somewhere indoors where they have a place to play until it gets warm.
