Cornbelly's is the best thing that ever happened to Utah County...except when you go in October, in which case it's the worst thing ever and pure chaos! But hit it right when in opens in late September, and it's MAGIC!
This year was particularly fun, we did two new things: the zip line and the bull rider. Another great video for another day: Cole attempting the zip line. He wanted to do it more than anything! I knew once he got up high, he'd change his mind. I was right. He became UNGLUED! As in, his screams sounded like his toes were being sawed off one by one by a sliver-infested popsicle stick.
Luckily, he had his mom up on the tower with him and I wasn't going to let his fears dictate his actions. With a little help from the worker, we managed to pry his tiny fingers off the holding rail and pushed him off on his way. Shrill, terrorizing screams ended abruptly and the boy was happy and enjoyed the ride down. The kid can't wait to do it next year. Kate, of course, did just fine. And Max, too, down below waited patiently and contentedly.
And here we are each taking a turn playing cowboy. This ride was another Mr. Cole can't wait to do again!
