Coloring Eggs

egg-dying 012We went all out with the dye, paint, sparkles, beads, and stickers kit this year.  It was mostly just messy.

But I put on my happy face, and so did everyone else (although Kate’s happy face came much more naturally).egg-dying 014 Dave turned on “It’s the Easter Beagle, Charlie Brown” and whipped up some Blackberry Italian Cream Sodas. egg-dying 032
Grandma Sherrie stopped in and visited for a bit (mostly giving her attention to Junior). And then we dyed our little hearts out, all while munching on Cadbury Mini Eggs. It was quite the night.

  2. Call me a bad mom, or OCD but I have a really hard time letting my kid "have at it" so to speak. I am going to get the dye kits today so we will see how it goes :) Sorry I have been MIA this week. We had Grandpa Junior's viewing and funeral and this week has just zipped by. What are your plans for Easter?

  4. The arts and crafts going on at your house are making me feel bad about the TV heads I'm raising over here! I did buy the dye kit, but not the paint. I opted for stickers and the clear crayon.
