Let's have a moment of reflection, shall we?
A typical warm day...
A typical cold day...
For anyone still having trouble translating...
Cold = Endless episodes of that condescending "Mouse character" and his creepy clubhouse, blogging, and inside recess.
Sunshine = trips to the park, weeding, wagon rides, bubble-blowing, and an early, but enjoyable jogging adventure (thanks to two very fun lady friends of mine).
I am dying for warmth! Someone please take me back to the sunny skies of Pasadena! Kate's dying too. Just look at how much fun this little bean can have when it's warm:
Yep, I don't envy a school teacher on "inside" days. I can't even handle my one eight-year-old. I can't imagine having to deal with 30 of them. You're just the spunky, positive lady that those 7 and 8 year olds need!
ReplyDeleteOh, I can so feel your pain! Not that I have kids to have inside days with, but I want the sunny skies of Pasadena again myself! The grey weather is so very blah.
ReplyDeleteI'm voting for warmer weather too...and I know my kids are in that anxious bunch too!
ReplyDeleteI know...it's time huh?? I love the picture of Kate on the swing...what a doll!
ReplyDeleteI'll spare you the temperature in Phoenix. It gets far too warm already. What a sweetheart Kate is! She really is loving life, isn't she?!
ReplyDeleteAMEN! I just love our early mornings!
ReplyDeleteI miss the warm weather too! (Especially Phoenix weather). In answer to your Alpine District question...No, I'm going to stay where I'm at. There's no 5th grade openings except for Saratoga and I really like the year round schedule. It will be quite a drive though. :(
ReplyDeleteHot Dog, Hot Dog, Hot Diggity Dog. It's a brand new day, what you waiting for? We're all waiting for a warm day, Mickey, so we can turn this crap off! He thinks he's the sh@#! Poor Donald.
ReplyDeleteI love the morning runs too!
